A hardy perennial. Large, rich green celery like leaves.
Grows best in a rich, moist soil. Propagate from seed, plant in late summer.
Use the leaves fresh, or dry them at any time.
The leaves and stems give a celery flavor to soups and salads. Blanch stem bases before eating.
