Description
A woody, many branched perennial growing 1 1/2 - 3 feet tall. Narrow 2 inch leaves are gray-green in color. Small fragrant lavender flowers are borne on long slender spikes
How to Grow
Grows best in dry, rocky, sunny places in soil that has a high lime content. Propagate by seed or cuttings. Protect in severe winters.
When to Pick
Cut whole flower spikes when the first flowers begin to open, and dry.
Use
Used most often in sachets and perfumes
