Description
A hardy perennial growing no more than 2 feet tall. Woody stems, small pointed leaves, and spikes of small purple flowers. Some forms have white or pink flowers.
How to Grow
Grows in poor soil, easily propagated from seed.
When to Pick
Use the youngest leaves and stems as needed.
Use
Oil obtained from the leaves is used in making perfume. Used to flavor liqueurs also used as a condiment
