Description
An annual plant growing from 1 ½ to 2 feet high. Finely cut, serrated leaves. Very small, whitish flowers in flat clusters.
How to Grow
Grows rapidly from seed. Plant after danger of frost. Thin to 6 to 8 inches apart in rows 2 feet apart.
When to Pick
Cut leaves whenever plants are large enough. Gather seeds approx 1 month after flowers bloom.
Use
Use in salads and as a garnish. Use seeds to flavor confections. Oil from anise seed is used in medicine
