Description
Woody, hardy perennial. Wooly, gray-green leaves, lighter underneath, darker on top. Grows 2 to 3 feet, has a tendency to sprawl
How to Grow
Start from seed or cuttings. Sow seed indoors and transplant. Plant in full sun. Space plants 2 to 2 ½ feet apart. Renew every 3 to 4 years
When to Pick
Pick leaves before or at blooming. Use in sausage or meat loaves.
Use
Stuffings for poultry, rabbit, pork, and baked fish. High in vitamins A and C and iron.
