Easily grown from seed in spring after all danger of frost has passed. Stake tall plants. Difficult to transplant
Pick leaves just as flowers open. Pick seeds when they are flat and brown.
Popular for flavoring pickles, sauerkraut, and beet dishes. Seeds yield a fragrant oil
