Descrition:
Delicate-looking plants feature dainty flowers that bloom all summer. Flowers bloom in blue, white, red or violet depending on variety.

Light:
Grows in full or partial sun.

Growth:
A low growing plant. Grows to 5".

Uses:
An excellent plant for edging, hanging baskets or other containers.

Tips:
Grows best in cool, moist, organic matter. Attractive planted with Petunias, Geraniums, and other annuals.

Uses:
Colorful plants best used for massed displays in borders or for containers.

Tips:
Excellent for cut flowers. Grows best in moist, fertile, well-drained soil.

Light:
Grows in full to partial sun.

Growth:
Usually trailing stems 6-12". Some varieties are upright.

Uses:
Excellent spreading plant for beds, edging or containers.

Tips:
Will grows in average garden soil. Remove spent blooms to promote reblooming.

Descrition:
Small, star-shaped flowers bloom profusely above glossy green foliage all summer. Colors include shades of pink, rose and white.

Light:
Grows in full to partial sun.

Growth:
Low, mound-forming plant. Grows to 10".

Uses:
Excellent performer for beds, patio tubs or hanging baskets.

Tips:
Wonderful for mass plantings in difficult sites with reflected heat from buildings. Grows in any garden soil. Newer varieties such as the Cooler series offer larger flowers and exceptional tolerance of hot, dry situations.

Descrition:
Cheerful, bright-colored flowers bloom from midsummer to fall. East to grow and very productive. Drought tolerant.

Light:
Perfers full sun.

Growth:
An upright plant. Grows 6-36" depending on variety.

Uses:
Very dependable for providing great color in a border or as cut flowers.

Tips:
Grows best in fertile, well-drained soil. Remove spent blooms to promote reblooming. Another form that is highly recommended is Zinnia linearis, a small-flowered type with a tidy 9" habit makes a ideal edging plant for gardens or along paths.

Prefers fertile, moist, but well-drained garden soil. Combines well with Marigolds, Geraniums, Petunia and Foliages.

There are over 300 species of Dianthus, and hundreds more of hybrid varieties. The group includes annuals, biennials and perennials. Most Dianthus produce richly fragrant flowers in the spring or summer, sometimes extending right up until the first frost. Although Dianthus species vary from 2 inches to 3 feet tall in height, most garden varieties are 10 to 20 inches tall.
Dianthus means divine flower.

This annual plant is a native to Asia.The flowers range in color from blue, white, red, yellow, or pink on 1'-3' stems. The foliage rises from the base of the plant. Grow asters in full sun with rich, well draining soil. Asters bloom from mid-summer up until the first frost.
